Making money online requires creativeness and if you put your eggs in the right basket(s), you are guaranteed to reap a good amount of income from blogging.

We’ve experimented by using different programs (Text-Links, CPM strategy, Banner ads, Full page ads, Adsense and many more) to try and find out which ones are worth utilizing.

Before, bloggers simply rely on Adsense to earn income. Some find it way too difficult because CPM and CPC programs require traffic first of all, and the earnings could be very minimal depending on the keywords you are concentrating on. We all know that Anti-aging and Loans earn a good size of CPC commissions and that is why you see a lot of Anti-aging and Loan blogs out there.

Most recently, we have experimented (from our blog which generates the highest traffic) with Project Wonderful. We started with advertising 125 X 125 ad boxes for .02 cents. We found that the bids have gone up to .50 cents at times because advertisers are able to view how much traffic you generate and the history of the bids on your ads. We assume that advertisers are interested in this data so they can tell how much traffic (or possible clicks) could occur in a high traffic blog.

Eventually, we added skycraper ads, 160 X 600 and started the bidding at .30 cents. This box have received up to $1.00 in bids. Naturally, since you are only making a percentage of the bid by time (how long the ad runs on your site by by hour) but we’ve seen ads on websites such as Comic Websites where their Project Wonderful ads go up to $15.00 in the bidding process. That is because Comics Websites receive a lot of traffic (in the range of 6K - 15K per day).

So, if you have a high traffic blog and know that you are making pennies with adsense, try Project Wonderful. It took us quite a bit of experimentation to realize its potential. Leader ads and sidebar ads seem to work for us the best.

If you’re looking into another way to make money on your high-traffic blog, try Project Wonderful.

Is It Really Possible To Make A Six Figure Income Online?

If you are reading this article right now then you are most likely someone who is interested in making a living from home through the internet. You also might be a little weary of the idea of making money online if you are very new to the idea of making money online. You might even be wondering, “Is it really possible to make a six figure income online?”.

To be honest, I don’t really blame you for questioning how realistic it is to make a six figure income online. I’ll admit, it does seem pretty unrealistic when you don’t have a background in working from home. However, I just want to make it clear that it is possible to make a six figure income online. There is one catch though. And that is, you need to follow a proven plan of action if you seriously want to achieve a six figure income. Don’t worry though, because I am about to go over everything you need to know about making a ton of cash online.
This is why it is so important to be realistic about your goals and expectations so that you have a better chance of reaching them and so that you won’t become discouraged in your efforts. A realistic goal might be to start making a few hundred dollars every week in a month’s time or so. Or maybe to make twenty dollars every single day in just a week. Do you see what I mean? As long as you aren’t expecting to make thousands of dollars everyday in just a few days you should be fine.

Now, a money making system isn’t necessary. However, if you want to start making money quickly then you should definitely consider one. If you attempt to go about making money in a trial and error sort of way you could end up spending hundreds of hours researching and testing. Do you really want to do that?

It is also a whole lot cheaper to find a reliable product for making cash from home with no experience because it will save you from buying unnecessary products as well as allow you to get things right the first time.

With the economy in shambles and unemployment on the rise, is now a good time to start a business? Yes, if you choose smartly a home based business can allow you to thrive financially while still having the flexibility that will allow you to be there with your family. Here are the top 10 best home based businesses to start during a recession.

1. At home daycare

Starting an at-home daycare is one of the top 10 home based businesses to start. With daycare being so expensive and so impersonal, many working families prefer to use home day cares where there child will get personal attention at a reasonable cost. This business is easy to set up but be sure to have contracts that you stick with. Check for local regulations before you begin.

2. Pet sitting / dog walking

Even in tough economic times, people keep spending on their dogs and cats. Starting a pet sitting business is a great way for animal lovers to make extra cash. In addition to pet sitting, you can also offer dog walking for people who are stuck at the office all day.

If you are serious about starting a pet sitting business, be sure to become bonded and insured.

3. Web design

You don’t need to be extremely skilled to start a web design business. All you need is a knack for selling to the local businesses in your area. Many of them don’t have a webpage but spend thousands on expensive and ineffective yellow page advertising.

Learn what kinds of sites business owners want and how to sell it to them, and you can always outsource the technical work.

4. Freelance writing

Many people make extra money with freelance writing, and some make a career out of. There are many places that you’ll be able to sell your work, both online and offline. For offline gigs, pick up a copy of Writer’s Market. For online work, find people who need articles, ebooks, and autoresponder emails and offer it to them at a competitive (but livable) price.

5. Accounting

Accounting isn’t for everyone, but if it is something that you enjoy consider becoming certified and offering your services. You can either start your own business or buy an existing franchise.

6. Blogging

It’s possible to make six figures blogging, but you’ll need to write frequently and spend your time wisely. There are many ways to get paid by blogging, whether you are selling advertising space, selling products for affiliate commission, or by displaying Google AdSense.

7. Virtual Assistant

If you are organized and enjoy learning new things, consider becoming a virtual assistant. Network with small business owners to see what kind of help they need. You might help them by running personal errands or maintain their websites.

8. Business Coach

Business coaching is one of the most profitable home based businesses you can start. If you can help a business succeed in a certain area, consider becoming a business coach.

9. Affiliate Marketing

If you want your home business to be internet-based, consider affiliate marketing. With affiliate marketing you get a commission of products that you sell.

10. Information publishing

Information publishing is a huge business and there is always room for another publisher. Think about all the newspapers, magazines, and nonfiction books available. They are all selling information. You, too, can sell information that other people are willing to pay for. This can be done in the form of ebooks and downloadable guides.

The number one thing to remember when you are choosing one of the top 10 best home based businesses is to follow your passion. If you provide a service or a product that others need and keep your overhead costs low, your business will be able to thrive in a booming economy or a recession.

If you have been watching the news or reading the paper or internet, chances are you are already aware of what’s going on in the world. The world economy is crumbling before our eyes and the realization of it is still unknown. From Europe to Asia and most especially here in the United States, where the economy was hit the hardest, we are all waiting for that magic moment when we will see an upturn and hoping that things get better.

About a few months ago, the economic issue was something that we only read in the paper or heard or watched on the news. Yesterday, it hit close to home. Our company which has never in it’s 40 years laid off anyone due to a recession had to make that tough decision and let go of individuals in order to survive this crisis. Can you imagine sitting at your desk while HR walks around and start tapping people on the shoulder and have them follow him to the conference room, only to find out that you no longer have a job? That is the most stressful of all specially with the way the job market is today.

Unfair it may to say this but we were the few that were spared. Yes, we do have to take a pay cut but that is far better than losing your job at this very tumultuous moment. With the gas prices soaring over the summer, all commodities’ prices have risen as well. A gallon of milk could cost you $2.99 these days and even though gas prices have come down significantly, prices of basic necessities haven’t come down.

What can you do to make up for the pay cut? Tighten your belts in order to ride this one through.

What are the measures we are taking?

Get rid of all the unnecessary expenses.

Pack our lunch daily.

Limit dining out.

Reduce movie nights to a minimum.

Iron your shirt instead of taking it to the dry cleaners.

Facials, manicures and pedicures - limited or eliminated.

Use a reusable towel instead of buying paper towels.

Save energy costs by unplugging unused appliances.

Reduce Cable TV subscription to a minimum.

Reduce pet grooming schedule.

Replace light bulbs with energy-efficient light bulbs.

These are just basics but in the long run, it could save you enough to help you get through the recession.

Save whatever you can until we see the light at the end of the tunnel. With a new President ready to take on this issue in a couple of weeks, we aren’t sure what the global reaction would be. Will the stock market rise? Will people start buying? We do not know. But until then, we have to take every precaution to put more money in our pockets.

Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!”

Everyone is probably already on the Holiday Rush mode. Buying last-minute gifts or wrapping them. It’s Christmas once again and although the world’s economy cannot be foretold, many people are taking chances in spending this holiday season. We were part of those who took chances. Why? We need to spend to get the economy going again. We are the economy’s future.

The one thing we couldn’t understand however, are the merchants who offer their product or service who doesn’t understand the meaning of “excellent customer service”. People are already afraid to spend their hard-earned money, let alone be confronted by merchants who don’t seem to care about providing the best for their customers. It’s understandable that there would be times when you will encounter a sales person or a CSR who’s having a bad day. That’s excusable in certain situations. We all have bad days and we certainly can understand that others can have them too. But if you encounter the same type of service, call-after-call - then, it’s not a “CSR-having-a-bad-day” situation.

It could be one of two reasons:

The company doesn’t care about customer service, only the bottom line.

The company doesn’t care about customer service, only the bottom line.

Yes. It takes excellent customer service that comes from the TOP to trickle down to their employees and relayed to the customers. It is a contagious thing. That is why we were not surprised to find SEARS to be on TOP with reference to customer service.

Do you know that SEARS (also known as Sears, Roebuck & Company)has a maximum 5 minute waiting time for merchandise pick-up? As soon as you arrive at the merchandise pick-up section, the clock is turned on. You can actually watch the clock do the countdown as they retrieve your package and deliver it to you. Posted on the wall was their commitment and daily score (99.3%, 100%) on how they are meeting this goal. We were very impressed that the merchandise we purchased was retrieved and delivered to us in under 3 minutes. Now, that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE .

The only way merchants can KEEP customers is to offer something that is not being offered by their competitors. Offer the best quality product or service, and offer the best customer service - you are sure to become successful. Sears has been around since the late 19th century and is still around today. The founder, Richard Sears worked as a railroad station agent ni North Redwood, MN. At the time, all cargo are moved via railroad across the United States. He received a shipment of watches that a local jeweler didn’t want, he purchased it and sold it himself for a little profit and repeated the process. He then moved to Chicago, IL and met Alvah Roebuck who joined him in the business.

SEARS was the company who made mail-order catalogues famous. The company became known for excellent product quality and customer satisfaction. To this day, if you purchase a CRAFTSMAN tool, they will honor a lifetime warranty. You can actually buy used and old CRAFTSMAN tool like wrenches and the like from garage sales, take it to SEARS and they will replace it with a new one for you with no questions asked.

Companies will come and go. Excellent customer service will save them from going.

Wednesday, October 1, 2008 provided by Jeffrey Strain

Many people assume they aren’t rich because they don’t earn enough money. If I only earned a little more, I could save and invest better, they say.

The problem with that theory is they were probably making exactly the same argument before their last several raises. Becoming a millionaire has less to do with how much you make, it’s how you treat money in your daily life.

The list of reasons you may not be rich doesn’t end at 10. Caring what your neighbors think, not being patient, having bad habits, not having goals, not being prepared, trying to make a quick buck, relying on others to handle your money, investing in things you don’t understand, being financially afraid and ignoring your finances.

Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren’t rich:

You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don’t view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.

You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.

You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.

You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. If you find you’re always saying there will be time to save and invest in a couple more years, you’ll wake up one day to find retirement is just around the corner and there is still nothing in your retirement account.

You don’t do what you enjoy: While your job doesn’t necessarily need to be your dream job, you need to enjoy it. If you choose a job you don’t like just for the money, you’ll likely spend all that extra cash trying to relieve the stress of doing work you hate.

You don’t like to learn: You may have assumed that once you graduated from college, there was no need to study or learn. That attitude might be enough to get you your first job or keep you employed, but it will never make you rich. A willingness to learn to improve your career and finances are essential if you want to eventually become wealthy.

You buy things you don’t use: Take a look around your house, in the closets, basement, attic and garage and see if there are a lot of things you haven’t used in the past year. If there are, chances are that all those things you purchased were wasted money that could have been used to increase your net worth.

You don’t understand value: You buy things for any number of reasons besides the value that the purchase brings to you. This is not limited to those who feel the need to buy the most expensive items, but can also apply to those who always purchase the cheapest goods. Rarely are either the best value, and it’s only when you learn to purchase good value that you have money left over to invest for your future.

Your house is too big: When you buy a house that is bigger than you can afford or need, you end up spending extra money on longer debt payments, increased taxes, higher upkeep and more things to fill it. Some people will try to argue that the increased value of the house makes it a good investment, but the truth is that unless you are willing to downgrade your living standards, which most people are not, it will never be a liquid asset or money that you can ever use and enjoy.

You fail to take advantage of opportunities: There has probably been more than one occasion where you heard about someone who has made it big and thought to yourself, “I could have thought of that.” There are plenty of opportunities if you have the will and determination to keep your eyes open.

Similar to anything else in the business world, your business must be adaptable to change. Change should always be welcomed. Change is good. As we’ve seen through the year-and-a-half that we’ve been blogging, the “Make Money Online” dynamics have definitely evolved. Blogging as a way of earning an extra income was very good a year or so ago and probably even better two years ago.

This time around, we’ve crossed many hurdles, jumped through loops and tackled all obstructions to keep on earning the income that we get from blogging. I believe that this is also a result of the global financial crisis that is going on right now. Advertisers are not as willing to put up the money just to link to their site from any blog. They are now looking for quality blogs that have high visibility.

The main qualities they look for include but are not limited to the following:

Your blog must be written in English

Your blog must have high-quality content

Google Page Rank Rating adds value to the opportunities that you receive

Your blog should have good quality traffic

If you are new to blogging, think of a niche that you would enjoy writing about. Think of better ways to keep your site content relevant to its theme and give your site the professional look and provide the space needed for proper advertising. Don’t clutter it with graphics that are confusing to the readers.

The best thing to get your site noticed is by making certain your blog is updated on a regular basis.

Passive income should be your main goal. Writing paid posts is a good way of earning an income but then again, the requirements keep getting tighter and tighter. Should you choose that route, make sure that your written content is original and not copied from the advertiser’s website.

If you keep up with these simple rules, you should meet success in the near future.

We’re not cheap but we like to keep the money we work very hard for. It’s not rocket science and you can always find ways to save. You can save on groceries by using coupons, or shopping online for the best deals. Why is shopping online sometimes much cheaper than going to a brick and mortar store? Because they pay a lot less overhead and not only does it benefit them, it benefits you as well. At times, even with the shipping and handling included, you still come out saving money. If you wear eyeglasses, you know well how much eyeglasses cost these days. The designer frame that you want could cost you hundreds of dollars. Adding to it the tinting, bifocal lense and you end up paying more. Why not check Incredible Stylish New Frames From Zenni? They are the companies we are speaking of. With own manufactured designer frames coming to you directly with no middlemen - you are sure to rack up savings. We saw a family one time with four kids all wearing eyeglasses - could you imagine the money that family could save if they go online and shop? I would suggest that they take a good look at Zenni Optical $ 8 Rx Eyeglasses.Save money where you can and build your nest egg faster. The company’s true-to-their-word, no-non-sense advertising was so good that Zenni Optical was on FOX news!
