It is a part of your eBay life. People will come and ask questions about your product so you have to be prepared to answer them fully and promptly. When we were selling DVDs, we weren’t really on top of the game when we started. We don’t know what the story line was about, and we have no idea what the DVD entails. This prompted questions from potential buyers that we couldn’t answer. And when we couldn’t, we lost the sale.
Answering questions from your customers are vital to your sales as well. If they cannot get the answer they need, they will go elsewhere even if your price is lower that the competitor. Why? Because as a consumer, you gauge your vendor’s responsiveness to your questions and your vendor’s attention to detail.
What we did to remedy the situation was to become a member of Netflix where we don’t have to purchase the DVD but rather have the ability to view the movie and know exactly what the movie was about. Inquiries came and we were able to answer them immediately. That investment alone increased our sales dramatically.

We haven’t posted our monthly income since April. We originally planned to update our income at the top right hand corner up there with real time income per month. Due to lack of time, we haven’t really had the chance to post it. But don’t worry, we have some very exciting news.
Being a seller on eBay do require a lot of work. It demands dedication and the proper amount of customer service skills. You have to be able to leverage everything to your advantage. From the price of your merchandise to everything and anything that is connected to getting your products to your customers. With the high (and rising) cost of fuel these days, we already anticipated that all shipping costs would increase. Therefore, we made adjustments to our listing prices to cover the added cost of shipping.
When you’re browsing on the net for things you’d like to buy, do you simply look at the description and buy it or do you look at photos of the product first and then read the description. I would guess that 98% of you would want to see the picture of the item before you purchase it. It’s human nature. We want to utilize our senses when we buy something. If you’re at the mall, don’t you try on pieces of clothing before buying them? How about at the market? Don’t you touch and feel a tomato before picking them. Our senses help create a feeling of satisfaction. It adds to the experience and therefore, if you are selling something - don’t you want your “prospective” buyers to see what they are “intending” to buy?
