I remember as a Medical Technology student back in the days. The University I attended was and still is well-known for it’s Medical Technology graduates and also running neck and neck with Nursing and Physicians against other high ranking Universities in the country yet, I remember our lab (where we spent most of our time) having the most out-of-date Lab Furniture ever. I think I may have found an inscription on one of the desks saying “Class of ‘69″ or something to that effect. Although it’s nostalgic, I think they should invest more on new lab furnitures for their students.

I don’t know how is it now but back then, we barely had new stools to use while doing our experiments. Since it is one of the best Universities for the field of Science, ergonomically correct furniture and equipment should replace those out-of-date ones. Leading universities who are attended by students from all over the world should really have the best and top-of-the line (although it doesn’t have to be the most expensive) furniture, accessories and services. It is what students have come to expect and it is just right to provide it.
