Alright alright, we didn’t want to make enemies with the happy people out there. We mean something different. When you become complacent, you start to not try for something better. You get content with what you have. We’re not saying that you should be greedy but if you are in business, there is one thing that is very important…. Your Bottom line.

What happens if you’re content?

  1. You stop growing.
  2. You become part of the “I’m so proud of what I’ve done, I’ll sit back and relax now”
  3. You will continue to do what you’re doing without improvement, you or your company becomes stagnant.

What you can do:

  1. Always keep track of your spending.
  2. Try to save the same amount of money every month (from your gross profit - i.e. 10%)
  3. Repeat that month-after-month.

Of course you can be happy. We want you to be happy with your financial success. Just note that you cannot be complacent. We can be content but not complacent. Complacency is being contented to a fault where you let go of all the other opportunities that come your way. Never lose site of this. Always keep your eyes open.
