The patio that I have is made out of cement. I tried to look for ways and design to cover that hideous cracked and old cement. I tried to look at certain options and found that the best I could have would be to use outdoor saltillo tile and cover the cement. I think I just made the right choice. The rusty look and the tile has impeccable durability. In order to protect it though, it must be sealed so it can keep the rustic look for many years to come. If the saltillo tile is not sealed, it could easily get damaged and scratched and I will eventually have to replace it again. Since we’re not going to the beach this weekend, we might as well finish this project that has been long overdue.

There are limited sealers on the market today for Saltillo Tile. Most of those sealers only have a life-span of 1-3 years. After many requests, saltillotileconnection.com have worked with a team of chemists to find the “perfect sealer” for our tile that will require only minimal maintenance. Their sealers have a life-span of 10+ years when cared for properly and they also come with incredible UV protecting properties, Anti-Ski (non-slip) elements, and Abrasion and Water-resistance qualities.

Why wait if we can do it now. Have a great holiday everyone!
