I work for a large firm in Philadelphia. We are a global company with a presence in over 120 locations worldwide. Being in the corporate office, we have a total of 14 conference rooms and one of the issues we face all the time are conflicts in conference room schedules, projectors and the like. We also have executives and technical personnel with cell phones, blackberries and laptops that needs to be managed effectively.

Our admins has to take care of all of these. Imagine managing who has what and when can be quite a task. One thing I believe could save them from the time spent in organizing our assets and meeting rooms could be an Asset Management Software. It can keep track of the laptops loaned to employees by serial number, manufacturer, and model. It could even manage IP addresses, store data about the condition of the equipment upon return. It could prevent the chaos that they deal with daily and make the lives of our admins a lot easier.
