Now, for the BIG WIN.

Posted by progobbler in Gratitude

We try to come up with what rewards we’re going to give ourselves if we meet our goals. Now, for the really big win. This is if we get to reach our goal in less time than we anticipated, and adventure such as going to the South Africa hunting safari would be awesome. Even if we don’t get to hunt, just to visit the African Safari could be a very big win for us.

Goal setting is one of my primary jobs as a Project Manager and in order to lead a team effectively, I always make sure that we provide them with the rewards they deserve. It not only creates a good morale, it also builds cameraderie among peers. And we love giving rewards specially if the goals we’ve set are met without a glitch or met sooner than expected. The milestones we create are realistic milestones. Simply said, this blog has reached higher than we set it to reach. It is barely a few months old and we’re already reaping the benefits from it.

That is why we advice our readers to set goals, achieve it and accept your rewards. Nothing could be more satisfying than that.

You get treated with surprises sometimes.

Posted by progobbler in Blogging, Gratitude

One of our older blogs was simply sitting idly.   We’ve updated it, placed content on it but it was one of the blogs we paid less attention to.  Every three or four weeks or so, we would update content and provide insight or humor about several things.  Remember our advice - - to age your blog?  Posting at least once a week allows your blog to age and be crawled by search engine bots.  When you do this, you have a better chance of receiving a rating from Google.

Guess what?  We just checked the PR and it is under PR 4!!  Woohoo!  For a blog we rarely updated to get a rating of PR 4 is beyond us but the surprise was very much welcome.   We will be updating that blog more often and send our applications in to paid programs.   It should be approved in no time.

True.  Surprises can be pleasant as well.

Small wins can do great wonders.

Posted by progobbler in Blogging

Another idea for a small reward and help us get to our goal. While I was in California, a colleague invited me for a weekend to go camping. We ended up at the Sequoia Mountains with his family and friends. It was a great time although I’m not much of a camper. The main reason why I enjoyed it was when he took me atop the mountain hiking, and met his buddies there to shoot clay using air guns. One tosses the clay up into the air and then the guys took turns in shooting the clays down.

I didn’t know I was that great in shooting clays. I was even a little timid myself and afraid that I will waste the clay that they throw up there without shooting any down. I was wrong. I have handled air guns before but an air rifle? I took my chances and I must have shot 3 out of five clays that was thrown. I was so proud of myself. So, in thinking about another small win - this could be an activity for my colleagues here that we can do while in Las Vegas. Another small win - another step closer to our end goal.

If you get the chance, visit Airgun Depot! They stock a wide variety of pellet guns, air rifles, air pistols, bb guns and bb gun accessories, as well as a great selection of airsoft guns, blank guns, and paintball. Their guns are top quality and are perfect for target practice, plinking, hunting and games.

When the going gets tough.

Posted by progobbler in Pep Talk

It’s been a rough couple of weeks.  Riding through the hectic wave of live could be discouraging.  Students scrambling to study for their finals, parents trying to arrange their summer schedules so they could spend time with their kids, and many other little things that keep us on our toes.

These are the trying times when all you want to do is hang your hat.  No more blogging, no more researching and writing.  It would be nice to come home from work at night, sit back, relax without any deadlines and forget about the whole thing.  But blogging is one of our income stream.  It provides for us.  So, when we get discouraged - we think of the possible rewards we can get as we get closer to meeting our goals.  That drives us to get back on the wagon and to keep on.

It has worked and we are back again.  Look for our posts soon.

We work hard, and we play hard.

Posted by progobbler in Uncategorized

Reward yourself. That’s what we always try to tell ourselves when we’ve done great things. Hard work always pays off, maybe not today; not tomorrow but it will pay off. It is like a swinging pendulum - it will always sway back to your direction. Our blogs are doing well and so are the good things that come with it such as advertisers and opportunities and we work very hard at it. It can get very tiring at times but we know that as long as we push right along, we will be able to reach that end goal.

Of course, having an end goal so far can discourage anyone. What we do to avoid this is to give little wins to ourselves that makes the end goal feel a little closer. We are looking at Las Vegas golf packages just to prime ourselves and get us excited with all the tasks we have at hand. As you may have noticed, we are lagging behind our eBay and Paypal series but don’t worry - - this trip may just push us to publish it sooner.

Are you searching for a great Las Vegas golf vacation package? The featured resorts and golf courses presented on this website represent the top hot spots for the game, at unbeatable prices! They’ve got great golf deals on courses like TPC Las Vegas, Siena, Angel Park, Revere, Paiute and Tuscany. The same golf resorts and courses designed and played by some of golf’s greatest champions are ready for your challenge. Work Hard - Play Hard!

Remain courageous throughout your journey.

Posted by progobbler in Pep Talk

Why are we talking about wins? It encourages us to press on. Just imagine how it was two months ago when we lost all our PR. We had nothing, and it was difficult to get opportunities presented to us as bloggers because of the missing rating.

If we don’t put out small wins, the goal would have been lost and we would have given up. But, we know that this is how it is. It is the way the world works and we have to be resilient enough to ride anything through. If we don’t, we will never reach our destination. Have the courage to be rich and one day, you will be.

Is your business losing steam? Or do you simply need a hand?

Posted by progobbler in Business

So you are in business. You know what you’d like to do and what you enjoy doing so you make a business out of it. Are you finding yourself getting tired or discouraged because you didn’t know how hard it was going to be to get your business off the ground? Or do you simply need some assistance to keep going and be motivated to do so?

One company we found does exactly that. It is becoming more and more acceptable and pretty much needed in any start-up business. Have you ever tried business mentoring? But what does that mean?

Some of us know exactly the business we get into. Take loving pets for example. Loving pets and taking care of them or walking dogs is a great idea but have you provided enough advertisement to get your company name and service out in the market? Or maybe, your business is doing really well but you don’t have enough knowledge in how you would grow it even more or make more profit with the same amount of goods or services that you sell per month?

ActionCOACH is a team of committed, positive and successful people who are always striving to be balanced, integral and honest. We will work within our “14 Points of Culture” to make sure that everyone who touches, or is touched by the ActionCOACH team, will benefit greatly and in some way move closer to becoming the person they want to be or achieve the goals they want to achieve. They will walk you through the hard times, and direct you and your business towards the right path to help your business become more successful and to take it to the next level.

Having a business is one thing - - running it is another. Don’t give up - -there are people out there to help you. Visit ActionCOACH dot com. There’s nothing to lose but so much to gain.

Persistence. Practice of it makes perfect.

Posted by progobbler in Blogging

We’ve known a lot of bloggers that started with us in our journey in raking cash off the web.  We were all excited together when we all started.  “This is going to be great!”, they said.  “We will conquer the blogosphere and take hold of any opportunities that may come!”  But some of them or rather, most of them are gone now.  Their blogs are sitting idly on the wayside.  Why?  Because they gave up.

We didn’t give up.  We’ve been through the PR 4 to the PR 0 ratings and we’ve been through the agony of regretting lost opportunities.  As we type this new post, we are extremely excited because we made it through the rain.  Our PR is back with a vengeance and opportunities are endless.

If you are getting discouraged and seeing no end in sight for the hard work you’re putting it - - don’t give up.  There is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.   We can promise you that.

Do you have kids at home? You better have one of these.

Posted by progobbler in Business, Making Money, Online Store

Kids get into everything, and we know that. They are kids after all. Most of the time, they get cuts and bruises and first aid kits are really vital in homes. If you’re looking to get into business in healthcare, one possible business you might be interested in is in medical supplies. I have a friend in California who concentrated his business around health care supplies for hospitals and he made a lot of cash.

Wound Care Products, most specially for households are a necessity. It’s not a luxury. All families should have betadine solution, bandages, sponges and wound-dressing kits. These are specially important if you have kids. Online companies offer these items and they come with free shipping. Why not? Besides, you will feel safer if you have these things available in your home. Things could be worse without them. Business advice? Look into health care.
